BOY. (Nomadistan) + CRINKLES (Burlington, VT)
Kathleen Boyle, aka Boy was a seacoast area fixture for many years, then circumstance whisked her away to Texas, Pennsylvania and other wacky outposts in America. She tours like a monster and is storming into Portsmouth.. twice actually, though we're planning a welcome home (at least for a night) party here with her extended seacoast underbelly family. Also features Vermonter wackies Crinkles, connecting dots at incorrect angles.
Show starts at 8pm, $3-10 suggested entry/donation.

FRANZ FJÖDOR + STAPLERFAHRER (Tilburg, Holland)
From the small Dutch city of Tilburg comes Wouter Jaspers performing as Frans Fjödor and Steffan de Turck as Staplerfaher (German for "forklift driver"), 2 projects exploring dense, precise yet somehow erratic sound. Be prepared to get into a meditative mode, sit back.. relax. But listen closely as sounds shift and change with detail that could be missed. In other words, pay attention but let your mind go. Make sense?
